Arrival Tel Aviv Arrive Tel Aviv airport, meet and assist then transfer to Tel Aviv for overnight at hotel.
Tel Aviv After breakfast, we drive to visit Caesarea Maritima, an ancient city and harbor was built by Herod the Great. Continue to visit Old Jaffa, an 8000 year old port city and visit the ancient ruins and walk along the restored artists' quarter. Continue to Tel Aviv to the historic train station complex, where the former Ottoman Station and other buildings have been transformed into shops, restaurants and cafés. From there you will walk through the neighborhood of NeveTzedek, which was the first area settled by a Jewish community outside Jaffa. From there you will continue through the Rothschild Boulevard, which is at the heart of Tel Aviv and is known as the 'White City' . The whole area is now a UNESCO-designated World Heritage Site, to the Hall of Independence where the Israeli prime minster Ben Gurion declared the state of Israel in May 1948. From there you drive to see Rabin Square, where Yitzhak Rabin, was assassinated. Overnight at hotel.
Akko/Haifa After breakfast, we drive to Akko and visit the Old City, the Crusader Fortress and the Bazaar. We drive to Haifa and go to Mount Carmel and visit Stella Maris Church that is built on a cave which is believed to be the place where Prophet Elijah lived. Continue to visit the beautiful Baha’i Gardens. Continue to Tiberias for overnight at hotel.
Nazareth- Tiberias After breakfast, we will drive to Nazareth, the home of Mary and Joseph, and visit the Basilica of the Annunciation and Saint Joseph’s Workshop. Proceed to Cana of Galilee where Jesus performed his first miracle. We go to visit Mount of Beatitudes, site of the Sermon on the Mount. Continue to Tabgha where the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes took place then visit Saint Peter’s Primacy Church. Continue to visit the ruins of Capernaum, the town where Jesus made his home after leaving Nazareth. Drive to Kibbutz Ginosar for a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. Overnight at hotel in Jerusalem.
Jerusalem After breakfast, we drive to Jerusalem and go to Mount Zion. Visit Church of the Dormition, the place where Virgin Mary fell asleep. Visit Cenacle, also known as the “Upper Room”, the site of The Last Supper. Continue to Saint Peter Gallicantu, which symbolizes Peter’s denial of Jesus. Visit Yad Vashem and Israeli Musuem. Drive to the Biblical village of Ein Karem, birth place of John the Baptist. Visit Church of the Visitation that honors the visit paid by Virgin Mary to Elizabeth. This is the site where tradition tells us that Mary recited her song of praise, the Magnificat, one of the most ancient hymns to Mary. Overnight at hotel.
Jerusalem After breakfast, enjoy a western wall tunnel tour. At 8:45. we go to the Mount of Olives and visit Pater Noster Church. Continue to see the panoramic view of the old city of Jerusalem. Proceed to Dominus Flevit then walk the Palm Sunday route and descend to the Garden of Gethsemane where Jesus spent the last night before he was arrested. Visit the famous Church of All Nations. Go to Saint Ann’s Church through the Lions Gate and visit Pools of Bethesda. Start walking the Via Dolorosa and end at the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. Tour in the old city of Jerusalem. Includes Mt Moriah in the center of Jerusalem, Arab Quarter and the maze-like market , A drive or walk through the ultra-orthodox neighborhood Mea Shearim. Visit Al Aqsa Mosque and Wailing Wall if security allows.
Bethlehem- Jericho- Eilat After breakfast, we visit the Church of the Nativity, marking the birthplace of Christ. Visit Saint Catherine’s Church and Saint Jerome’s Cave where the bible was translated. Drive to Jericho, the oldest city in the world. Visit Mount of the Temptations and the Sycamore Tree. Visit the baptismal site and then Have a swim. Continue to Qumran where the Dead Sea Scrolls were found. Visit Massada, use cable car to ascend to Mountain. Check in at hotel in Eilat
Arava- Petra After breakfast, proceed to visit Petra, On this full-day tour, drive across the desert to the ancient Nabataean. City of Petra. Upon arrival at Wadi Musa, mount your horses and ride with your Bedouin guide through the Siq, a 1.2 km magical canyon towards Petra. Visit the Treasury, actually a royal tomb where most visitors fall in love with Petra. From the Treasury, the passage widens to the Street of Facades. Ascend to the High Place of Sacrifices atop Jebel Madbah with drains to channels the blood of sacrificed animals. See the Theatre chiseled out of rock. Downhill from the Theatre, the wadi widens. Within its west-facing cliffs the Royal Tombs are burrowed. Then, the Colonnaded Street marks Petra’s city center. . Then climb up to the Monastery, one of Petra’s legendary monuments.
